Knowledge Fair

Running concurrently with the conference will be a Knowledge Fair, which will provide participants with the opportunity to exchange new information and ideas and to share exciting initiatives in and for Malawi through exhibits and posters.

Participants can now contribute to the Knowledge Fair in two ways:
• Exhibit Space. Conference participants interested in reserving an exhibit table at the Knowledge Fair are asked to email Ms. Sivan Yosef (s.yosef@cgiar.org) by August 24. In your email, please describe your proposed topic/contribution in 100 words or less. All entries for the Fair will be weighed against space considerations and relevance to the conference theme. Invitations to exhibit at the Fair will be sent to those who qualify by August 31.

• Electronic posters. All interested individuals, whether able to attend the conference or not, are invited to submit electronic posters for the Knowledge Fair. Electronic posters are single PowerPoint slides which offer brief information on a cross-cutting initiative, idea, or project relevant to the conference theme. Each poster will be displayed on a television monitor on a one-minute timed loop at the conference, and also featured on the conference website. The design of each powerpoint slide is flexible, though we suggest it not contain too much text and be easy to read. No more than three PowerPoint slides (in .ppt or .pptx format) per individual can be emailed to Ms. Sivan Yosef (s.yosef@cgiar.org) by September 22 for display at the Knowledge Fair.
